This piece started with something I wrote across my chest in blue Sharpie before the last half marathon I ran in January.
Freedom For All came from a real moment of conviction. I wrote it in protest of the ICE detentions happening across the country, and that is why the lettering carries a hint of blue shadow behind it. The No Kings symbol stands for the belief that there are no kings in America, and the line Together, We Are America was inspired by something Benito put into the world that stayed with me.
This shirt is about standing for something bigger than yourself. It is about remembering that freedom should belong to all of us, and that this country is strongest when it belongs to the people, not power.
